Thank you for visiting us! You are invited to explore here and see in person, the place that is part of the foundation of aviation as we know it, the birthplace of Wilbur Wright. Whatever your involvement in aviation, this destination should be on your list of "must-do's." Along with the homestead, you'll find exciting displays, an authentic replica of the Wright Flyer, an early research wind tunnel, replication of the Kill Devil Hills hangar, bicycle shop, historic documents and artifacts, even an F-84 Jet, and much more!

The existence of the museum depends on the benevolence and generosity of our visitors and members. The benefits of joining us are providing you various items of thanks for your support. The museum is a registered non-profit 501 C 3 organization. The museum staff and board are all volunteer to help keep the museum and community facility as affordable as is possible. The facility, like any, has ongoing operating requirements to provide the physical environment that the artifacts require to be sustained for current and future generations. We thank you again for your help and we look forward to your visit, whether virtually or hopefully in person. You can drive in, fly into the local airport, or if you have a helicopter, we have a landing pad right here on site! Thank you and welcome to the Wilbur Wright Birthplace Museum.
